Zoo Cafe is all about simple joy and close-up encounters with animals. It’s a small, cozy petting zoo where kids and adults can feed, touch and interact with a surprisingly varied range of animals. Here you’ll find hedgehogs, giant tortoises, ostriches, rabbits, deer, iguanas, chickens, exotic birds and the unexpectedly adorable hairless guinea pigs that visitors always mention with a smile. The animals live in open, tidy enclosures and look well cared for.
At the entrance you can buy a basket of food for 100 baht, and that instantly turns the visit into a playful adventure. Children can feed tortoises, pet rabbits, hold hedgehogs, offer treats to deer and even feed fish from a small bottle. A talking parrot often steals the show — a little moment everyone remembers.
There is also a Thai café on site serving drinks, ice cream, Belgian waffles, sweet sets and dishes like tom kha soup, making it easy to combine the visit with lunch or a snack — especially if you’re exploring waterfalls nearby.

Zoo Cafe is one of those places where even my tail starts smiling. 🦎💚
Grab a food basket and you’re on an island quest: tortoises marching toward you, hedgehogs shuffling around, ostriches acting like local celebrities. Kids run from one enclosure to another, and adults end up enjoying it just as much. If you want a warm, playful island experience — this is absolutely the spot.
