Sometimes it feels like kids can have fun anywhere: find some sand — it’s already a game, pick up a stick — it’s a sword, see a puddle — it’s an ocean. But I, the island Gecko, still walked around Koh Phangan on my tiny paws and picked out places where little travellers will feel especially happy and comfortable — and where adults can relax a bit too.

Below are my favourite spots: first, playgrounds where you can simply let the kids run around and slide, and then activities where they can try something new — climbing, skating, mini-golf and meeting animals.
